Netflix #StreamTeam October 2014 Mini Milestones

In the last year I've celebrated a lot of my own milestones.  My husband and I got married, we got a dog, bought a car, bought a house, and now are expecting our first child.  Oh, he also graduated from graduate school too.  Wow, that's a lot when I stop to think about it! Milestones are extremely special and should be celebrated accordingly. Have you celebrated any of your own milestones lately?

Netflix is recognizing mini milestones by compiling a list of movies and TV episodes that highlight a variety of achievements.  Whatever "firsts" your family is currently celebrating this fall, Netflix can surely relate.  Did you recently land a new dream job? Or maybe your family moved into a new house? There are so many milestones in life that you're bound to have a new one in your family soon. Is your child trick-or-treating for the first time this Halloween, or have they recently lost their first tooth? Have a mini celebration with them as they grow older and celebrate all that life has to offer.

When my daughter is born in about two months, my husband and I will have so many milestones with her and ourselves.  We'll transition into Mom and Dad and feel proud as she takes her first steps, starts talking, and grows older.

It's time to gather the family around the television to enjoy selections that celebrate those accomplishments in life. Don't forget a big bowl of popcorn and some candy either!

Younger children will enjoy relating to some of the following categories:
New Sibling: The Hive, Babee's Room
First Sleepover: Bratz Kids: Sleep-over Adventure
First Pet: Beethoven

Netflix hasn't forgotten about Mom or Dad either, don't worry! The 'rents have their own picks including:
New Job: The Office
Buying a Home: House Hunters
Having a Baby: What to Expect When You're Expecting

Whatever milestones you are celebrating now, or will celebrate in the future, just make sure you have loved ones around to partake in the happiness.
