GoJane Review

Go Jane is my ultimate shopping paradise. I surfed onto the website and was quickly welcomed with the cutest shoes, accessories, and clothes I've ever seen. Each item for sale was better than the previous! It took a lot for me to not reach into my wallet and type in those credit card numbers to purchase a few tops!



Go Jane is a clothing website that sells very affordable items for women. Whether you want a halter dress, beaded sandals, or dangly earrings, they have it all. The clothes are very trendy and they are the same items you'd see in a department store but for much less.

I received the adorable beaded strap printed tank dress to review.


This dress also came in magenta, but I really loved the teal color. The teal and brown together is a great combination and I love the print of the dress. The swirls and various designs of the dress are very fun and lively. The dress fits well and is the perfect length for me. I wear more dresses in the summer than capri's or shorts because it's just easier and I feel less hot that way. This dress would look great with brown wedges or even brown sandals. Thanks to Go Jane for helping me to look great this summer!

Woofables Bakery Review

As I mentioned in a previous review, my dog is a huge lover of treats. She begs for them 100 times a day and they are pretty much her favorite thing in the world. I've never given her handmade "bakery" treats before, and I knew she would go crazy for them.



Woofables Bakery (isn't that the most adorable name ever?) sells handmade dog biscuits using natural and healthy ingredients. The company also offers dog gift baskets, gourmet dog cakes, natural chews, speciality dog treats, and bulk dog biscuits. I knew this was right up my alley. I wanted to give my dog delicious (in her opinion!) treats that were not full of anything artificial and bad for her.

I was sent quite an assortment of treats for Colby. She received a large decorated bone that said Happy Birthday (I will be saving this for her 13th birthday in July), some various decorated treats such as a tiny piece of pizza, puptarts (a cute spin on a pop tart), smiley face and peace sign treats, small dog bones, and even a cute squirrel! The treats are hand-decorated with care and they look amazing.





The box arrived a few days ago and it was jam packed with delicious goodies for my Colby. I opened the box and let her sniff inside of it and I told her all of this is for you! Her tail wagged like crazy and I knew she would love all of the treats. I've only given her two treats so far because she is on a special controlled diet and I don't want her to gain too much weight.

The first treat I gave her was the slice of pizza. Isn't this so adorable? I love how it has "pepperoni and green peppers" on it. So cute!! She happily gobbled it up and licked her lips for more. I can tell when she doesn't like a treat, she will sniff at it or just leave it on the floor and walk away. When she really loves a treat it doesn't last a second before it feels the wrath of her stomach.

The puptart was the next treat that I gave her. I really liked how all of the treats I was sent were the perfect size for her, because she is a small dog. The puptart was small and decorated with multi-colored sprinkles, although I am not sure what the sprinkle substitute really is. She took a large bite out of it, looked at me to make sure it was okay and then happily ate the rest. She wagged her tail after it so I knew she must have enjoyed it.

I know Colby will enjoy the rest of the treats when I give them to her. I can't wait to give her some of the Happy Birthday bone for her birthday in July. She'll go crazy for it I recommend that you order your furry friend some treats from Woofables Bakery, your pet will be in treat heaven!

Chips Ahoy! Chewy Gooey Fudge Review and Giveaway

I've been a fan of Chips Ahoy! cookies for many years. I love how they are always coming out with new and delicious flavors. They do a great job of satisfying a chocoholic's sweet tooth perfectly too :) Chips Ahoy! cookies are always fresh and very tasty.



Chips Ahoy! is a brand of chocolate chip cookies made by Nabisco, that debuted in 1963. They are widely sold in the United States, Latin America (where its name changes to "Pepitos!" or "Choco Chips"), South Africa, Canada, Mexico, Spain, Portugal and Australia.

Nabisco says the name is "a reference to the nautical term, Ships Ahoy!" The words "Chips Ahoy!" also feature prominently in a story appearing in Chapter 15 of The Uncommercial Traveller, by Charles Dickens. Dickens relays a childhood tale of a shipwright named Chips who is taunted by a diabolical talking rat who predicts the sinking of Chips' ship: "Chips ahoy! Old boy! We've pretty well eat them too, and we'll drown the crew, and will eat them too!". There is also a 1956 American animated theatrical short titled Chips Ahoy.

Chips Ahoy! have so many delicious flavors such as classic chocolate chip, Peanut Butter Chunky Chips Ahoy!, White Fudge Chewy Chips Ahoy!, Mint Chips Ahoy!, Chewy Chunks Ahoy! and so many more. The fabulous chocolate cookies are guaranteed to make you say YUM AHOY!!

I was sent two new packages of Chips Ahoy flavors to review. I received Chips Ahoy! Chewy Gooey Chocofudge and Chips Ahoy! Chewy Gooey Megafudge.

I had seen these advertised and knew that these cookies had a date with my stomach. Delicious chocolate chip cookies filled with fudge? The thought of it sent me into a chocolate frenzy. I knew they had to be absolutely fantastic. There are many different ways to enjoy these cookies. You can have them straight out of the bag, or pop them into the microwave for a few seconds for an even gooier fudge center. Serve them alongside ice cream and you have a truly heavenly treat. You can even dip them in ice cream too if you'd like. I tried one cookie of each variety, just for sampling purposes. I love the easy reclosable packaging so the cookies don't easily get stale.

Both cookies look the same size as a normal Chips Ahoy! cookie. You would have no idea that they were hiding a chocolate secret inside unless you knew it was a Chewy Gooey cookie. The small Chocofudge cookie has tons of chocolate chips jam packed into it. Once you bite into it you get a wave of soft chewy cookie, luscious chocolate chips, and sweet fudge all at once. The fudge is thick and rich and instantly blankets your taste buds with the most fabulous flavor ever. I've never had a cookie that was filled with fudge before and I now know what I was missing all this time! I think this cookie would be amazing if heated for a few seconds, it would be chocolate bliss for sure.

The Megafudge cookie was good, but the Chocofudge for sure was my favorite. This cookie is much darker in color and is dotted with white chocolate chips. I am not a big fan of white chocolate chips. When I have a cookie I like to go for a real cookie taste and consistency, and this cookie reminded me of a brownie. The flavor of the cookie was nice and I loved the filled center too. Who knows, maybe the cookie will grow on me and I will come to love it?

I was sent the a necklace and earring set called "The Augustine." The color of the set is a beautiful gunmetal color and the necklace is a large braided rope style. The earrings are similar to the necklace but they are circular.



I love that these pieces are in a set because sometimes I have trouble pairing a certain necklace with earrings and having it look good. With this set I'll never have trouble because both pieces will always look good together! The necklace looks like it would be very heavy to wear from the picture, but it's not. Granted it's not extremely light, it does have some weight to it but it's not uncomfortable to wear at all. I love the way it looks on and it's the perfect length too. It's adjustable if need be too. The earrings are comfortable to wear and are not too heavy either. I think this set would look great with virtually anything you would pair it with. I've never seen a jewelry set as unique as this one. I can't wait to wear this soon!

Schwan's Review and Giveaway

I've done a review for Schwan's in the past, but I knew I just had to do another one. I love the large selection of food that is available for order, and of course it is simply excellent too.



Schwan's is an online grocery store that offers food delivery to your home. Products range from ice cream and dessert to meats, side dishes, breakfast items, main entrees, snacks, fruits/vegetables and more. I guarantee that you will fall in love with their food. The company is friendly, reliable, and has great customer service. I think it's so convenient and fun that a grocery store on wheels comes to your house and saves you the trouble and hassle of food shopping yourself.

I was sent a delicious assortment of food to review. I received 4 seasoned 6 oz flat iron steaks, a large bag of delicious lemon garlic seasoned vegetables, and loaded waffle cone peanut butter swirl ice cream.

I decided to serve this meal to my boyfriend since he is a huge lover of meat. I knew he would enjoy the hearty and flavorful steak, the perfectly seasoned veggies, and the sweet and creamy ice cream.


A colorful vegetable blend of broccoli florets, whole green beans, sliced yellow carrots and red bell peppers in a flavorful lemon garlic seasoning.


Individually wrapped USDA choice grade flat iron steaks are seasoned with a steakhouse seasoning featuring butter and onion providing a juicy, flavorful steak.


This ice cream is loaded with chunks of fudge covered waffle cone pieces surrounded by thick, rich peanut butter swirls.

My boyfriend was really excited for this meal, he's a huge lover of steak so he couldn't wait to chow down! The steaks come individually frozen in a pack of 4, so it's easy to cook only one at a time if desired. You also won't have to worry about freezer burn either which is really nice. He said the steak was cooked perfectly and the color of it was just great. The steak just melted in your mouth and it was so tender and juicy. The flavor of the steak was incredible, he said. The steak was seasoned perfectly so each bite had the perfect amount of seasoning, onions, and butter. The combination of the butter and onions together was awesome too, and the flavor of the onion was very prevalent. Each bite was better than the next it was a truly delicious steak. My boyfriend couldn't believe that this was something that he was eating at home and not in a restaurant! The quality of the steak was definitely steak house quality in his opinion.

The vegetables were served with the steak. I've never heard of lemon garlic seasoned vegetables before but they sounded delicious and I knew that they probably would be! The bag of vegetables is very large and you could definitely get a few sides for meals out of it. The peppers, broccoli, and beans provided a great assortment and all of the colors were very visually pleasing to the eye too. The veggies were fresh and large. Each vegetable was perfectly seasoned and the essence of lemon and garlic was highly noticeable. The lemon and garlic flavors did not overpower each other, but he could notice each flavor individually when eaten. They were very fresh and crunchy too. The seasoning definitely kicked the veggies up a notch and gave it a great personality and unique flavor.

Lastly, the fabulous dinner was followed by a great bowl of loaded waffle cone peanut butter swirl ice cream. He's a big fan of peanut butter desserts so I knew this would be right up his ally. The ice cream was out of this world, he claims. It was perfectly creamy and rich and loaded with fudge covered waffle cone pieces and peanut butter swirls. The fudge, waffle cone pieces, and peanut butter swirls were evenly distributed throughout the ice cream, so each bite was the perfect bite! The waffle cone pieces were large and very crunchy. The fact that they were covered with thick fudge was even better. The peanut butter swirls were thick as well and the flavor of the peanut butter was truly delicious and very prominent in the ice cream. The fudge was sweet and the chocolate flavor was just excellent! My boyfriend says that anybody who is a fan of peanut butter and chocolate will go crazy for this treat!

Chasing Treasure Review and Giveaway

If wearing jewelry is a daily essential to you, then it needs cleaning just like anything else. That favorite silver bracelet of yours that you wear everyday is looking a little tarnished. Once you clean it, it will look sparkling new. I love the way jewelry looks after being cleaned, new life is brought back to your favorite accessories.



Chasing Treasure offers women's jewelry boxes and travel jewelry boxes. For taking care of your jewelry they offer jewelry care and cleaning items that provide great results. They also sell beautiful wooden jewelry boxes. Any of these jewelry boxes would make the perfect gift.

I was sent jewelry care items for review. I received two jewelry cleaning soultions, one for cleaning sterling silver, silver plate, brass and copper jewelry. The other cleaner restores the original brilliance to platinum, gold, diamonds and precious stones. I also received two different kinds of cleaning cloths.



I was really happy to be able to clean my jewelry. I wear sterling silver necklaces, earrings and rings a lot and just the general wear over time dulls and tarnishes the jewelry.

The cleaner was easy to use. There is a basket that comes inside of the solution. All you do is place your jewelry in the basket, lower it into the solution for 30 seconds and then take it out. I took the actual basket out of the solution and rinsed it under warm water and then dried it with the provided jewelry cloth. The cloth is soft and really does a good job of buffing out any dirt on the jewelry. Before I even dried the jewelry I noticed that it was instantly much shinier and brighter. My sterling silver earrings looked sparkling new once I dried them on the cloth. I even noticed a few specks of dirt left behind on the cloth which was awesome because I knew my jewelry was truly clean. The only complaint I had was that the solution smells very strong and it took me a minute to get used to it while using it.

Now you will be able to wear all of your old jewelry again that is tarnished and sitting in an old dusty jewelry box. Once you clean the pieces they will look like a million bucks!

I haven't used the solution for cleaning fine jewelry and gemstones because I don't have much fine jewelry. I'm sure it works great though.

These jewelry care items would be a perfect gift for any jewelry lover who wants to have their pieces looking as great as the day they bought them.

My dog is an absolute treat fanatic. Just mentioning the word sends her into a frenzy of crying and jumping around. She also looks at you with her big eyes as if to say, "You just mentioned a treat and aren't giving me one?" Which of course makes me feel guilty and I have to relent!

PetCakes, made of all natural and organic ingredients, can be microwaved in less than 3 minutes creating a tasty and totally unique experience for families and their pets. They have recently introduced a cat cheese nip microwavable treat too.

PetCakes achieved Best New Product of the Year 2010 at the Global Pet Expo. Featured in various magazines and publications as a top pick and chosen as one of the gifts in the coveted “Hollywoof” swag bag, PetCakes has quickly become the new “it” product.

I was sent a box of Petcakes, which are special dog treats that you can make in 2 minutes and 30 seconds in the microwave. Each kit comes with a special purple pan that features 3 molds in the shape of dog bones. Each kit comes with 2 mixes. There are three different flavors sold separately original carob, pizza, and 3 cheese.


I think this a fantastic product! I've always wanted to make my dog home made treats and now I can. I showed the box to my dog yesterday and I said "I'm going to make you treats!" and her tail wagged wildly and she started pawing the box and crying! She knew that the box was for her :) The treats were really easy to make. All you do is combine one packet of mix, 1/2 cup water, and 1 tablespoon of peanut butter into a mixing bowl and stir until blended. The box says that you can substitute applesauce, yogurt, cottage cheese, etc into the mix instead of using peanut butter. Customize the treat to your pet's taste. The directions say to fill each mold to the top until full. You microwave for 2:30 and then let cool for 10 minutes until serving. The mix looked sort of like raw pancake batter.

The treats looked like this after ten minutes of cooling:


I know this picture isn't the best, sorry it's from my cell phone. After 10 minutes of cooling it really did look like I had baked the treats. They went from raw batter to "cooked" very quickly. The only thing that I noticed was the bottom was much more mushier than the top after cooling. I am not sure if I should have waited a little bit more for the bottom of the treat to set. I loved that the treats were in the shape of a large dog bone, and I couldn't wait to have my dog try them. Since she is a small dog and the treats are very large for her, I cut a small piece off of the end and gave it to her. She happily gobbled it down instantly and then looked at me for more! I think it's safe to say that she loved them. I will definitely make these again for her. You can also spread some peanut butter or cream cheese on the top of the treat for some added yumminess for your dog, but I didn't do that.

M&MS Review and Giveaway

Since I'm a big chocolate lover, I want to spread the chocolate wealth and let other members of my family have some of the sweet stuff too! M&MS are the perfect candy for sharing too :)

My mom is a huge lover of M&Ms and I know she would love to try a new kind that she hasn't yet had. First off, the candies are so appealing because they are multi-colored. The candy is a treat for the eyes and the mouth. You will first notice that the candies are about the same size as peanut M&MS. They have to be large because they are stuffed with fantastic pretzel goodness! She said upon first bite of the M&M you are hit with a fabulous crunch along with a hint of sweet chocolate.

Nutrisystem Week 11 Update

I'm still down 10 lbs on Nutrisystem! I didn't lose any more weight from last week, but that's ok! I am going on vacation tomorrow where I will have access to a gym and a lot of exercise outdoors which is great. I'm sure I will lose a few pounds while I am gone.

I have to order my new month of food today and that always keeps me on track.

I also love that it's warm outside now so I can go for long walks and really focus on losing more weight.

I've been enjoying many fresh apples and oranges for my "add-in's." It's great because I love fruit anyway, so to enjoy something that helps me lose weight is awesome.

Lovemode Review and Giveaway

Woohoo! The weather is warm and pretty soon it will be time to break out the sandals and cute sundresses. I'm a big clotheshorse and I always enjoy shopping for new clothes so it's no surprise that when I am approached to do a review by a clothing company I jump at the chance :)

It was overwhelming for me to choose just one article of clothing that I liked because I loved practically everything I saw. They have cute tops and dresses, shorts/pants, and great accessories. The best part is that the clothes are very affordable but look like the expensive fashions you see in department stores.

I'm very girly so browsing through page after page of cute clothes made me pretty happy. I finally settled on the adorable blue abstract belted dress,


I was a little concerned when I first ordered this dress because it looks extremely short on the model and I was hoping it wouldn't be that short in person! Thankfully it wasn't and it covers me well. I love the pattern of the dress and it fits me perfectly. Since I have recently lost weight, I ordered a lower size hoping it would fit and it did! I was really excited because I don't normally wear a dress size this small. The dress is form fitting too but isn't extremely tight which is good. The dress would look really cute with black heels or black flats. It took me a minute to figure out how to properly wear the belt because the belt sort of has "two" belts attached, it's hard to explain. I looped it in the belt loops and it was easy to attach to the dress after that. I can't wait to wear it this summer!

Alouette Cheese Review and Giveaway

If there's anything I love more than chocolate (and you all know I'm a big chocolate fan!) it's cheese. I'm not a huge fan of imported or speciality cheeses, but I do love a hearty slice of cheddar or provolone on a sandwich. I'll even have my cheese on a nice whole wheat cracker too.

I was sent a new product from Alouette, light spinach artichoke soft spreadable cheese. The cheese has 50% less fat and 30% less calories than regular spreadable cheese. The cheese is also gluten-free.


I've never really had spreadable cheese before, and especially not a delicious combination like spinach artichoke. The container is large and is filled with a decent amount of cheese. The first thing I noticed when I opened the cheese for the first time was the aroma of fresh spinach. The cheese smelled fantastic. It is white with bits of green spinach and tan artichoke pieces mixed in. Everything is mixed together perfectly so each bite has the perfect amount of spinach and artichoke in it.

The cheese is very creamy and is truly easily spreadable. I enjoyed the cheese with a few pretzel sticks. The taste of the cheese is a little tangy with a hint of fresh spinach and artichoke. I can taste both flavors equally, and I really loved the cheese. Two tablespoons of the cheese are 40 calories, so it's not going to undo your day of healthy eating. The cheese would be an excellent choice to serve at a party with whole wheat crackers or even warmed up pita bread. Why not be creative and come up with a fabulous recipe using this cheese? I know everyone will love it!
