Learning Resources Review

Now that Scarlett is 19 months old, we're shifting more from baby toys to toddler toys.  She's at an age where she likes to be very helpful with her toys. You'll see her pushing her doll in her toy stroller, or trying to give her stuffed animal a drink of water from her sippy cup.  Not only is it cute, but it shows her caring personality too.  I feel it's important to let your child have fun while learning through play.  Learning Resources is just the brand for this philosophy.

Learning Resources is a leading manufacturer of innovative, hands-on educational materials for classrooms worldwide and learning toys.  Teachers will be delighted to use tools from Learning Resources to help teach subjects in math like fractions and counting money.  There are also many other fun resources available for helping to teach phonics, reading, and science.  Students will be able to enjoy themselves while learning the classroom skills they need.  That's certainly a win-win.  Homeschooling parents will be able to bring the fun to their own home in helping their children learn too.  There's certainly something for each child to love at Learning Resources.  Please keep them in mind for all of your educational needs now and in the future.

Scarlett absolutely loves our dog Lynnie.  She always wants to hug her, give her her snacks (mom doesn't like this!), and even tries to walk her and hold her leash when we're outside.  I've been looking for new toys to spark her interest since she doesn't seem to be as enthusiastic about our current toys. When I stumbled upon the New Sprouts Puppy Play Set I knew that it would be just the toy that Scarlett would love.

How adorable is this set? Encourage role play while teaching children about the responsibilities associated with caring for pets. With an included plush puppy, dog bed, dog bowl, bone, brush, and can of dog food your child will have hours of fun.

As Scarlett gets older, I would like her to have more responsibilities for taking care of Lynnie.  This set is perfect for encouraging that.  I'd like her to eventually help to feed Lynnie and brush her too.  As soon as I showed the playset to Scarlett, she instantly had a huge smile on her face and loved it.

When we were playing, I told Scarlett what each piece of the set was for. She enjoyed seeing the puppy in his bed and even tried to brush him too! How sweet. The pieces are crafted well and look so realistic!  She even gave the puppy a hug and smiled during playtime.  I love how much she cares about animals.  Even though she's only 19 months right now, she will continue to understand the connection of helping to take care of the puppy through the pieces as she gets older.

We have other New Sprouts playsets in our house and they are some of Scarlett's favorites.  The playsets are very unique and definitely conversation starters.  There's nothing more rewarding than watching your child learn while having fun.
