Cabo Dog Review and Giveaway

There's nothing that dogs love more than food.  Treats especially hold a dear place in their heart. When meal time comes around, the feeding frenzy begins! Their tails wag like crazy and they know it's time to gobble up that delicious kibble.  Why not let your dog dine in style with fabulous bowls?

Cabo Dog is a pet boutique that offers anything your pet might need and more.  Are you in the market for stylish dog beds, dog bowls or dog toys? Cabo Dog has you covered! There are also leashes, dog treats, and clothes available too among many other things.  Whatever you need to keep your dog the coolest and most hip dog on the block is available. Spoil your dog today, they deserve it!

When I was shopping for dog necessities for Carolyn, one of the last things I needed was bowls.  I couldn't find a bowl set I liked.  Either the bowls were just plain stainless steel, or they were colored but gigantic.  I searched and searched but wasn't having much luck in the doggy dining department.  Luckily, I stumbled upon Cabo Dog and found a bowl set I absolutely loved.  This set was stylish but compact and small enough to fit in my kitchen.

Carolyn's bowl set showed up today, which I am grateful for because I didn't exactly love serving her in real bowls!

How adorable are these bowls? I received the petite bone pet feeder in black.  The dog bone shaped iron base is too cute and matches my kitchen decor perfectly.

These bowls are truly magic.  Since coming home Friday night, Carolyn hadn't been eating well.  She was still adjusting and unsure of what was next (understandably.) She didn't really have much of an interest in dog food, although she was drinking normally and of course loved treats.  Yesterday morning we had a breakthrough and she ate some kibble that I put on the floor in front of her bowls.  Obviously, I don't want to continue this habit because it's not a great one.  She should be eating from her bowls.  Anyway, after I took the bowl set out of the box, I filled the bowls with water and dry food and set them down on her bone mat.  She instantly started eating the dog food! I was shocked.  Maybe she was really picky and hated the bowl that I had her food in before? Was it too low to the ground, and she liked this set better because it was elevated? Who knows! I am very grateful that she's eating now though.

The bowls are stainless steel and look great with the black bone base. I absolutely love the dog bone shape!  You can wipe the base down with a damp cloth to remove dirt, and the bowls are dishwasher safe.  The set seems constructed well and durable.  It is not a lightweight set as when Carolyn ate, it didn't move with her.  The base stayed firmly on the mat. The bowls are big enough to hold adequate food and water for your pet. I like the fact that they are elevated so it's easier for your pet to eat and drink.

Carolyn is very happy with the bowls and gives them two paws up!

  24. Our bowls always seem to get pushed across the floor (and end up in some corner, under the table, jammed under the couch, you name it) so it would be great to have something like that keeps the bowls in place. Also, one of my pups is is starting to get a bit of arthritis so I think he would benefit from having an elevated feeder. mary987 (at) hotmail (dot) com

  40. My dog has a set of bowls that are on the floor. Now that she is getting older I think the raised bowls would be nice for her. Also, the cats like to play in her water dish. Maybe with it up high it will discourage them as well.

  42. I have eight dogs, including three rescues. I would love to win this giveaway as with the amount of dogs I have, I can always use another dog feeder. I love elevated feeders and the main water bowl in the kitchen is an elevated one, as well we have a large on on the deck that is elevated and my oldest dog has an elevated food bowl but the rest of the bowls are the regular on the floor style. My dogs eat out of sectioned bowls and share nicely so this would be great for two of them to have a nice elevated feeder for dinnertime. Thank you for the chance to win.
