Dirt Devil Tattoo Vacuum Review

I like my house to be neat and vacuumed at all times. I vacuum several times a week to ensure this, and call me crazy, but I actually enjoy doing this chore! My vacuum has been on the fritz lately and I've been needing a new one, but have been putting it off.

Dirt Devil came to the rescue and offered me a wonderful opportunity to review their latest line of canister vacuums called The Tattoo. This unit is very cool and modern looking. It comes in 4 different colors: black, orange, purple, and red. I picked the black.

Some information about the vacuum:
Fashion meets function with the Tattoo™ Canister series. A colorful palette with fun tattooed designs brings unique variety to Dirt Devil's canister line. Fantasy Tattoo™ Canister provides powerful suction with all the tools necessary to deliver proper cleaning.

Features:
10 AMPS
Automatic Cord Rewind
Vertical Storage System
Built-in Carry Handle
Rubber coated wheels gentle on floors
Full Bag Indicator
Variable Suction Control

What the unit looks like as a whole:

I really love this vacuum. The tattoo design is very cute and makes this chore even more fun. This is a lightweight, small vacuum which is perfect because it's not too heavy to transport from room to room or up and down stairs. The only thing I wish this vacuum had would be a bagless feature, but it requires bags. The unit is not overly loud. It cleans extremely well on hardwood and carpet. With my old vacuum I would have to run over the same area on my carpets a few times to pick up the mess, but with this, the mess is vacuumed up in one quick motion. This saves me much time and aggrivation. The retractable cord is also helpful when unplugging it to store away. It also comes with various attachements (crevice tool, dusting brush, and extension wand.) All of my vacuuming will be done in style from now on :)
