Shrimp and Spinach Pasta

If you're looking for a quick, delicious, and crowd-pleasing meal to feed your family, I have the perfect recipe for you.  This dish combines pasta and spinach in a wonderful garlic and butter sauce.  It'll instantly become a family favorite!

Start off by boiling your favorite pasta and salting the water.  If you can, buy already peeled shrimp.  This saves you time.  While the water for the pasta is boiling, add a generous amount of olive oil to the pan.  Put the shrimp in the pan and season them with your favorite seasonings.  I also like to put in some butter and fresh garlic cloves to give extra flavor.  Heat on high and add in as much spinach as you want. I mix everything together and cook until the spinach is wilted and the shrimp is nice and pink.  This process is usually about 5 minutes or so.

Once the pasta is cooked and drained, pour the pasta back into the pot and add the shrimp and sauce mixture into the pasta.  Feel free to substitute or add whatever you'd like into the dish.  Be creative and make it your own.  I usually add cherry tomatoes, but I didn't have any on hand tonight.  Add pepper, sausage, bacon, or anything else!

You'll be greeted with a restaurant style meal that you and your family can enjoy in your own home.

When I realized that 1 By One offered a bubble machine, I knew it was exactly what Scarlett needed in her life.  We've been to bounce houses before that had bubble machines, and she went absolutely nuts for them. Scarlett tried to stand up and pop the bubbles and grab them. She laughed and laughed and just was smiling so big.  It's funny how such small things like bubbles can make a child so happy.      I knew that it would be so unique and fun for Scarlett to have bubbles at her disposal every day! 

Since we're in Florida currently at Grandma's house and the temperature is in the 70's, it was the perfect opportunity for Scarlett to give the machine a go.  Sorry to everyone else experiencing freezing cold temps! :(

The machine arrived quickly and was completely set up, there was no parts to put together or install.  You simply pour dish liquid or any other high quality bubble solution into the machine, turn it on, and you'll be transported to bubble world in minutes.  When it was delivered, Scarlett was taking a nap.  I couldn't wait to show it to her and it was one of the rare times that I was waiting for nap time to be over!

When Scarlett finally woke up, I was like a kid on Christmas morning.  We took the machine outside and I set it up.  I knew she'd be so excited to have bubbles at Grandma's house!

As you can see, the machine is very compact and doesn't take up much space.  It stores easily on a garage or basement shelf.  Back in New England where there's a polar vortex going on right now, outside bubble play is so far from anyone's minds.  Once you pour the dish liquid into the reservoir and turn it on, hundreds of bubbles fly out from the internal wand at once.  It's like being caught in a bubble storm! The bubbles are large and high quality. Make sure to touch one before it pops!

Scarlett did have an interest to see where the bubbles came from and wanted to stick her hand into the reservoir.  If you have a little one like I do, just be careful.  There is nothing sharp or dangerous inside, but just keep a mindful eye on them. Little ones are always curious!

The bubbles instantly made her smile and she was laughing and loving life! We'll be taking the bubble machine back home with us so Scarlett can enjoy it this summer.  There's so many uses for the machine besides just outdoor play.  You can use it for your classroom if you're a teacher, weddings, parties, events, and even concerts too.  Everyone of all ages enjoys bubbles.
