Bunny Pancakes for Easter Morning Breakfast Is a Great Idea

Easter is just around the corner! If you haven't started planning your menu for the occasion, I'm sure you'll be doing so soon.  Bunnies are everywhere and I've been noticing all the fabulous chocolate eggs and Easter treats that are in the grocery store too!

If you're looking for a fun twist on a traditional pancake breakfast to signify Easter, I have a unique recipe the whole family will love.  It's always fun to get into the holiday spirit no matter which one it is!
I'm up for pancakes any time of day, especially if they include add-in's like chocolate chips or blueberries. Pour some heated syrup over the top of those golden brown circles of heaven and you've got yourself quite a meal.  There's nothing like making Fluffy Bunny Pancakes on Easter morning!

*Recipe taken from Taste of Home

If you don't have a lot of time, feel free to use a pancake mix instead of a homemade recipe.

Ingredients:
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 large egg
3/4 cup milk
1/4 cup butter, melted

Toppings:
Banana slices, mini chocolate chips, whipped cream and sweetened shredded coconut.

Steps:

1. Preheat griddle over medium-high heat.  Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.  Combine egg, milk and melted butter; stir into dry ingredients just until moistened.

2.  For each funny, make a pancake 4 inches wide for the body, a pancake 2-1/2 inches wide for the head, two small oval shaped pancakes for the feet, and two small triangular pancakes for the ears.  Spoon batter onto griddle; cook until bubbles form on top of pancakes.  Turn; cook until second side is golden brown.

3. To form bunny, place ears at the top of a plate.  Place head slightly overlapping the bottom of the ears; top with body slightly overlapping head and feet slightly overlapping body.  Place a banana slice on each foot, arrange mini chocolate chips at the end of each foot for toes.  Dollop whipped cream on body just above the feet, sprinkle with coconut for the tail.  Serve immediately.

These bunnies will make anyone smile no matter their age! Enjoy.

Keep Your Little One's Feet Warm with Kyrgies

Even though my son isn't born yet, that doesn't mean that I can't start shopping and preparing for his arrival! I have a few months to go until my August due date, but the closet is certainly ready for him! It's so fun to buy tiny baby clothes and things once again.  Just like I did with my daughter Scarlett, I'll buy things in advance for him that will fit at a certain time.  Hey, it's smart to plan ahead!

Kyrgies are the most comfortable slipper that you'll ever sink your feet into.  They come in a variety of styles for men, women, and children including natural leather soles, moccasins, and indoor classics.  The indoor classics provide the ultimate in cozy vibes and are handmade using felting techniques that are centuries old.  The unique texture of these house shoes will invigorate your feet after a long day.  They feature a synthetic felt sole with silicone grip.  If you're looking for a natural sole, you'll be delighted that Kyrgie's natural leather sole slippers provide a thick vegetable tanned leather with a molded sole providing a cozy fit and arch support.  Lastly, the moccasins offer a sewn felt slipper that will make anyone smile.  If you're looking to give your current pair a slippers an upgrade, why not consider Kyrgies?

A pair of Kyrgies makes an ideal gift for any recipient, especially that person who is hard to buy for.  Everyone loves to be comfortable.

Kyrgie's makes babies and toddler moccasins for younger children that will keep their feet happy and stylish all year round.  I chose to receive the Kyrgies Royal Blue Toddler Moccasins in a toddler size 3, which is one of the smallest sizes the company offers.  Plus, how can you resist something so adorably small? The slippers come in oatmeal and blue, among other colors.

The moccasins are a sewn slipper, with a slightly different feel than the rolled felt that makes up their others models.  The felt in their moccasins is softer and more pliable, so it will fit to your feet like a warm hug.  You'll be surprised to know that the felt is cut out of a large felt sheet, then those cut pieces are sewn together by hand offering you a moccasin like no other.

As soon as I received the moccasins, I could instantly tell they were very high quality.  The rich dark blue paired with the grey bottom is a stylish combination.  This is not a flimsy slipper by any means, it's sturdy with a supportive leather sole.  The inside is soft to keep your feet warm and toasty during the colder months of the year. I'm interested to try Kyrgies for myself now! They seem very comfortable.

Since I received a toddler size 3, obviously my son will not be able to wear them right away, but hopefully soon enough! It's always nice to be prepared in advance with what your child needs.  I know he'll look adorable in them! It won't be too long. :)

If you're looking to add a wonderful pair of slippers to your closet or bedside, it's time to give Kyrgies a chance.

Here’s How To Showcase Your Home When You’re Trying To Sell It

When it comes to selling your home, things can get incredibly complicated. When you love the place, it’s easy to just assume that others will too. If you’re moving because you need more room or you’re relocating, you’ll often be sad to leave your beautiful home. But you’ll also often think that someone else will love it as much as you do. And so you’re often excited to get things listed up for sale. However, it doesn’t always go that smoothly. Because not everyone looking round your house is going to feel the way you feel about it. So, if you want to make sure that you actually do sell it, and you get the best price for it, you have to be smart. Here’s exactly how you need to show it off when you’re trying to sell.

First Impressions Count

First of all, you have to realize that first impressions are everything. It’s so easy to think about the inside and what you need to do here first. But you really do have to start with the exterior. Because first impressions are everything. And you could really nail the interiors, but if the outside is looking shabby, it’s going to put a lot of people off. So make sure that the house exterior is clean and tidy, that your lawn is looking well-kept, and even things like your driveway or entrance is really shown off at its best.

Depersonalize

This is your home, but it won't be for long.  So you need to make sure that you're taking the personal element out of things.  Prospective buyers need to be able to imagine themselves living there, so you need to depersonalize your home as much as possible.  Take down family photos and personal styling.  You need to make this as neutral as possible to appeal to a wide range of people.

Stay Clutter Free

A cluttered home really isn’t going to cut it. If your place is messy, it’s going to stop people from wanting to look around or even from visualizing themselves there. If you have lots of junk or stuff packed up ready to move (especially the bits you’ve removed during the depersonalization process), look into storage options like mybekins.com for the short term. Then, your home will look more appealing.

A cluttered home really isn't going to cut it.

Clean, Clean, Clean

Next, you need to make sure that you're staying on top of the cleaning. When it comes to having viewings, you will need to keep your house cleaner than usual. It will mean more vacuuming and tidying, but it will be entirely worth it when you make the sale.

Stage To Perfection

When it comes to the overall look, you're going to want to work on staging your home to impress the buyers. Think about how you can take some of the best home staging tips on sites such as hgtv.com to improve your home. You may not like how this looks, but you don't have to. You just need to make sure that you're appealing the market and getting as much money for your home as possible.

Dipped Strawberries From Gourmet Gift Baskets Are Perfect Any Day Of The Week

Gift baskets make the best presents.  I've given many gift baskets as birthday presents over the years and the recipients absolutely loved them.  What's not to love about a beautiful basket filled to the brim with items that you enjoy? The best part is how they are decorated.  Make sure you select a basket that's big enough to hold everything you want to give.  After that, put clear cellophane paper around the big and tie with a gorgeous bow.  It will be almost too pretty to open, but they won't be able to resist! It would be a smart idea to make some one's day extra special with a gift basket today.

Gourmet Gift Baskets is the mecca of gift baskets for any type of occasion.  A relative or loved one would enjoy a gift basket filled with tasty treats like candy, brownies or even popcorn.  There are so many gift basket choices like coffee, chocolate, tea, meat and cheese, and even sports themed! If gift baskets aren't on your radar, you can choose from dipped berries, popcorn tins, cheesecakes, and other delectable goodies to delight your taste buds with.

How about care packages for your niece or nephew away at school or summer camp? You can't forget about the gift towers that are filled with items that will make any one's belly smile.  A gift basket would be the perfect corporate gift to thank a client, not to mention they make ideal presents for any occasion.  Go ahead and order one for a friend or family member today, or maybe even yourself!

Chocolate is my one weakness in life.  I can resist soda, fried foods, and even fast food. When it comes to that sweet and rich chocolate though, I cannot seem to say no! It's essential to indulge in chocolate on only days that end in Y.

The Summer Sports Berry Sampler is exactly what everyone needs to make their summer a delicious one.  You'll love these 12 oversized strawberries that are hand dipped into baths of rich imported Belgian chocolate.  All of the berries are decorated with signature chocolate drizzle, buttery toffee, or sweet sport candies.  They'll be almost too pretty to eat, but I'm sure you'll be able to push past that thought quickly.

These berries are not only gorgeous but large and in charge too! I've had dipped berries before but have never tried a toffee berry before, so it was a unique and welcomed surprise when I saw toffee berries. The sports candies are cute and would be an ideal gift to give any sports fan.

Not only were these berries extremely juicy and ripe, but bursting with incredible chocolate flavor.  The beautiful vibrantly colored coating of the berries was rich, thick, and ideal for chocoholics! I absolutely loved the toffee and milk chocolate berries best.  The berry instantly curbs your sweet tooth and is a wonderful mid-day pick-me-up.  The nuttiness of the toffee provided an irresistible crunch that was delicious, while the smooth and rich milk chocolate berry was unbeatable.

Since there are 12 berries, the portion size is conducive for sharing with friends or family.  I completely understand if you don't want to share though, it's hard to share your chocolate.  I'm looking forward to enjoying the remaining berries in the coming days, and I know my stomach will not have a problem with that at all.

Keep Gourmet Gift Baskets in mind for all of your sweet treat needs both present and future.
