I'm always in the kitchen whipping up new recipes. One thing that everybody needs in their kitchen no matter what is mixing bowls. A quality mixing bowl set is so versatile and can be used for so many things. I'm actually a big fan of the old-school Pyrex patterns from the 1960's and 1970's. I own many pieces such as the casserole and divided dishes. It's fun to use them and the items are definite conversation starters. The best part is that you can't buy them in stores anymore and they aren't everyday pieces that anyone could have. I was excited to see that Vintage Charm has a Pyrex inspired line. Who wouldn't want to bring some old-fashioned kitchen fun into their home?
The 3 ceramic bowls comes in a 3, 6, and 10 cup variety that would add a beautiful touch to any kitchen. I actually used the bowls to make brownies for a Thanksgiving sweet treat. The 10 cup bowl came in handy and was ideal for holding all of that beautiful brownie batter. The bowls each have a different orange dot pattern on them that is adorable. The pattern fits in perfectly with my old school Pyrex bowls and actually looks like it's vintage, even though it's not!
The colors on the bowls are bright and vivid and really catch your eye. When not in use, they stack inside each other and can be stored away in a closet or cabinet. I didn't find the bowls heavy at all to hold. The smaller bowls would be ideal for mixing batter for pancakes, waffles, or even ingredients for omelets!
I'm very satisfied with the mixing bowls and can't wait to use them in the future for any of my mixing needs. They will definitely come in handy throughout the holiday season!
