WrapAByBaby Etsy Shop Review

If you're a regular reader of my Facebook fan page, you know that I've been counting down the weeks that are left until my daughter's birth.  Right now, there's only five.  Since there's not a lot of time left, I'm now starting to get my bag together for the hospital.  It'll be cold when she's born and having an adorable blanket for her is a must.  Scarlett has blankets in her room, but I did not yet have one for her stroller/car seat.  I knew I wanted something that I liked but also was appropriate for a newborn.  When I stumbled upon WrapAByBaby, I found myself at baby blanket headquarters.

WrapAByBaby owner Nannette makes adorable burp cloths and baby blankets by hand.  If you're looking to wrap your baby up in the softest blankets, Nannette is here for you. Her custom creations come in all sorts of colors, patterns, and themes for both boys or girls.  For girls she offers puppies, flowers, and ladybugs among many other designs.  Boy blankets or burp cloths come in patterns such as sports or dinosaurs.  Don't see exactly what you're looking for? No problem, the shop takes custom orders to create the blanket of your dreams. Nannette's talent shines through in her work and the time and dedication put into the blankets is evident.  A blanket or burp cloth from WrapAByBaby makes a perfect baby shower or new baby gift.

I was sent an adorable blanket for baby Scarlett's car seat and stroller.  This blanket isn't just any ordinary blanket, this one is special.  It features dogs on it.  My dog Carolyn is going to be a big sister and she needs to do a good job of protecting the new baby.  Since Scarlett will have a sister, I thought it would be great for her to be introduced to dogs from birth-literally. I hope her and Carolyn will get along and grow up together!

Love you sweet dogs

The dog pattern is just too cute and I love the bows in their hair! This is a lightweight, soft blanket which is perfect for year-round use.  I'm glad it's not fleece or a very hot material that might be too warm for the baby.  There is a thick pink border around the blanket followed by an eyelet trim.  At first, I wished that the entire blanket featured just the dogs without any borders or trim.  The extra details grew on me and I am more fond of them now. All of the colors are bright and vivid, certainly full of personality.  The size of the blanket is generous and it will cover baby when she's in her car seat or stroller with no problem.

I hope Scarlett likes this blanket and snuggles up with it not only as a baby, but as she grows up too.  I like that it's not extremely babyish and the design is suitable for any young girl. All I have to do now is wait for her to get here!

*DISCLOSURE* Thank you to WrapAByBaby for providing me with a complimentary blanket in exchange for this post.  All thoughts are my own.
