Lindsay Olives Review

Olives are a favorite of many. They are most known for bringing flavor to salads. Some use sliced olives on pizza, for sandwiches, or even eat them straight out of the jar. There are many different types of olives for everyone's taste.

Lindsay Olives is a company which offers many different types of olives. Whether you like garlic stuffed, almond stuffed, Pimento stuffed or Kalamata, this is your go to company for olives.

I was fortunate enough to receive a great selection of olives to review. I received: Nutty Almond Stuffed, Garlic Stuffed, Pimento Stuffed, California Ripe Pitted, Greek Kalamata, and Green Ripe California Pitted.

The pimento olive is stuffed with a pepper. The pepper gives it a great taste. It is small and of a normal olive size. It tastes like a traditional olive and has a great, mild taste.

Medium Pitted California Olives:

The medium pitted olives are featured in a reclosable, portable bowl. This is great for traveling or on the go. It's good for lunches too. These olives are a deep black color. They have a more milder flavor than the Nutty Almond and Garlic Stuffed olives. I think these would be a great alternative for people who are wanting to try olives for the first time but don't know what to expect. It's a good flavor to draw them in by.

Green Ripe California Medium Pitted Olives
The Green Olive that's nothing like you’d expect! Unlike their tart Spanish Green cousins and more like their mellow California Black Ripe siblings, Lindsay’s latest masterpiece, California Natural Green Ripe olives, have a unique nutty and buttery flavor that will melt in your mouth and satisfy your craving. (Taken from website.)

The green ripe olives have a great rich taste to them. The taste is like no olive I've had before. It would be great for a snack because it's so light and mild. I really enjoyed this olive.

Greek Kalamata Olives

I did not like the taste of these olives at all. The flavor was very strong and sour-like. They had a unique oval-ish shape to them.

Punchy Garlic Queen Olives

And in this corner, the olive. Packed with savory garlic, it’s the perfect one-two punch of flavor. Smooth and delicious, it’ll have you rethinking your usual snacks. These olives have just what it takes to help you take on the rest of your day. (Taken from website.)

These olives were very unique. I've never seen a stuffed olive before and I thought it was a great pairing. Who doesn't like garlic? This olive looks very similiar to the nutty stuffed olive, but instead is stuffed with a piece of garlic. The garlic flavor is noticable, but does not overpower the olive taste at all. This olive is larger than a normal olive.

Nutty Almond Queen Olives

These olives would be perfect for giving a salad that crunch that is needed. The olive has a normal taste on the outside, but on the inside the almond is crunchy and very fresh. It gives that olive a special something. It has sort of a sour taste to it, but is still enjoyable. I would have to say this is my favorite olive out of all of the ones that I reviewed.

I really enjoyed getting the chance to try olives that I had never been exposed to before. I will be pairing these with salads, I know the olives will add awesome flavor!
