Nordicware.com Review and Giveaway

I am always excited and interested to review any sort of cookware. I cook a lot these days and I always like trying out new kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and even bakeware. I know some people don't like to cook, but I really do enjoy it.

I contacted NordicWare.com and was very excited when they told me I could pick items to review that I was interested in. This was no problem at all because I was interested in everything on the website! They have lots of unique items such as pancake pans that cook pancakes in the shapes of zoo animals, cake pans that make cakes in the shapes of pumpkins and easter bunnies. They also have cookie sheets, regular cake pans, and more. Nordicware's fun cookware will surely make you want to cook.

I spent some time choosing what I wanted to review, and decided to pick items that are not like anything I own.

I chose:
Rectangular Cake Keeper
Snowflake Pancake Pan
Searing Grill Pan
Bundt Quartet Pan

Rectangular cake keeper:

Heavy-walled clear acrylic with a locking base for easy storage, serving and transporting of all types of cakes, deli trays, etc. Holds a standard 9 x 13 cake.

I really like that this cake keeper can be used for more than just cakes. You can use it for cookies, cupcakes, veggie or even fruit platters. It could be great for transporting sandwiches and anything else you can think of. It has a large surface that will hold a lot. I like that with the locking base it stays locked until you open it.

Snowflake Pancake Pan:

When I saw this pan I immediately wanted it. It is so adorable and who doesn't like snowflakes? It's perfect for the upcoming winter holiday too. I will be using this pan this weekend. It is durable and has some weight to it, so you know it's not a cheap pan. During the cooking process, all you have to do is flip the pancakes over for even cooking.

Searing Grill Pan:


I used this pan last night to cook some porkchops. Check out a picture.


The grill has a large cooking surface which is very nice and convenient because it allowed me to cook 4 porkchops at once. The pan was of good quality and had a good amount of weight to it. The raised ribs on the pan gave my porkchops that restaurant quality look to them. The ribs also helped get some fat out of the meat which was nice too, since I always try to cook healthier. The pan cooked my food evenly and very quickly too. The porkchops came out juicy and delicious! This pan would be great for chicken, steak, and hamburger too. You could also use it for a quick panini too.

Bundt Quartet Pan:

Small versions of our Star, Elegant Heart, Bavaria and Original Bundt pans delight in 2.25 cup sizes! 9 cups to fit standard mixes.

How cute is this pan? I love it! I used a standard cake mix with it because it was just easier and I was eager to try the cakes out. I sprayed pam inside 3 cake molds, filled the pan with cake mix, set the timer and eagerly awaited the finished product! The cakes came out wonderful. I was nervous at first that they would stick inside the pan even though I greased it. It took a minute to get the cakes out even though I took a spatula and moved it around the pan perimeter to loosen up the cakes. I got them out though and they came out beautiful. They didn't fall apart at all and were cooked just right. Yum! Bringing these cakes to an event or party would certainly be a conversation starter. I'm sure everyone would love them.




I love all this new cookware, it certainly has brightened up my kitchen!
