Vemayca Cosmetic Bag Review and Giveaway

My makeup bag never seems to have enough room. I don't really think I have that much makeup, but I am always struggling to zip it and keep it closed. I have been looking around for a bigger makeup bag recently, but can't find anything that isn't huge like a train case.

I was fortunate enough to receive a red cosmetic bag. The bags come in either red or black and they are extremely stylish. It's a great everyday bag, but also perfect for traveling too.

(The removable pearl liner is easy to clean from any makeup spills.)








The bag is very soft. I was almost afraid to use it at first because it's so nice and pretty! I didn't want to mess it up. The inside is very roomy. You could fit many items in here and even a small full sized bottle of perfume too possibly. I like the gold circular zipper pulls. It brings a stylish classy touch to the cosmetic bag, instead of a regular everyday zipper. There is also a second separate compartment. It is very deep too, it could hold your makeup brushes or whatever else you would need to store in there. My bag holds all of my makeup with no problem. I'll never have to worry about overstuffing my cosmetic bag again!

Nordicware.com Review and Giveaway

I am always excited and interested to review any sort of cookware. I cook a lot these days and I always like trying out new kitchen utensils, pots and pans, and even bakeware. I know some people don't like to cook, but I really do enjoy it.

I contacted NordicWare.com and was very excited when they told me I could pick items to review that I was interested in. This was no problem at all because I was interested in everything on the website! They have lots of unique items such as pancake pans that cook pancakes in the shapes of zoo animals, cake pans that make cakes in the shapes of pumpkins and easter bunnies. They also have cookie sheets, regular cake pans, and more. Nordicware's fun cookware will surely make you want to cook.

I spent some time choosing what I wanted to review, and decided to pick items that are not like anything I own.

I chose:
Rectangular Cake Keeper
Snowflake Pancake Pan
Searing Grill Pan
Bundt Quartet Pan

Rectangular cake keeper:

Heavy-walled clear acrylic with a locking base for easy storage, serving and transporting of all types of cakes, deli trays, etc. Holds a standard 9 x 13 cake.

I really like that this cake keeper can be used for more than just cakes. You can use it for cookies, cupcakes, veggie or even fruit platters. It could be great for transporting sandwiches and anything else you can think of. It has a large surface that will hold a lot. I like that with the locking base it stays locked until you open it.

Snowflake Pancake Pan:

When I saw this pan I immediately wanted it. It is so adorable and who doesn't like snowflakes? It's perfect for the upcoming winter holiday too. I will be using this pan this weekend. It is durable and has some weight to it, so you know it's not a cheap pan. During the cooking process, all you have to do is flip the pancakes over for even cooking.

Searing Grill Pan:


I used this pan last night to cook some porkchops. Check out a picture.


The grill has a large cooking surface which is very nice and convenient because it allowed me to cook 4 porkchops at once. The pan was of good quality and had a good amount of weight to it. The raised ribs on the pan gave my porkchops that restaurant quality look to them. The ribs also helped get some fat out of the meat which was nice too, since I always try to cook healthier. The pan cooked my food evenly and very quickly too. The porkchops came out juicy and delicious! This pan would be great for chicken, steak, and hamburger too. You could also use it for a quick panini too.

Bundt Quartet Pan:

Small versions of our Star, Elegant Heart, Bavaria and Original Bundt pans delight in 2.25 cup sizes! 9 cups to fit standard mixes.

How cute is this pan? I love it! I used a standard cake mix with it because it was just easier and I was eager to try the cakes out. I sprayed pam inside 3 cake molds, filled the pan with cake mix, set the timer and eagerly awaited the finished product! The cakes came out wonderful. I was nervous at first that they would stick inside the pan even though I greased it. It took a minute to get the cakes out even though I took a spatula and moved it around the pan perimeter to loosen up the cakes. I got them out though and they came out beautiful. They didn't fall apart at all and were cooked just right. Yum! Bringing these cakes to an event or party would certainly be a conversation starter. I'm sure everyone would love them.




I love all this new cookware, it certainly has brightened up my kitchen!

I'm a big fan of pajamas and sweats. Whenever I am not out and I am just lounging around my house, you can guarantee I'm not in regular clothes. I just find it uncomfortable to lay around in jeans. I much prefer sweat pants or pajama pants.

I have to say that the pajamas are my favorite out of the 3 items I received. You sometimes take a gamble by ordering clothes from the internet without being able to try them on first. These fit PERFECTLY. I was very happy because they looked good on, were extremely comfortable, and of course I loved that they were pink. They do have a drawstring if you need to adjust them, but I didn't. It's getting too chilly to wear them now, but I will definately be wearing them next summer!

The shower wrap is adorable. I love leopard print and since it's a one size fits all, you can adjust the velcro closure to make sure it fits you as you see fit. It is great for wearing when you get out of the shower when you don't always know what you're going to wear. Instead of trying to pick out clothes while holding your towel, your hands can be free to peruse your closet with ease.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I received the bathrobe because it came with matching slippers! I somehow must have missed this when I picked out the bathrobe. In the winter I live in a bathrobe. I am always cold and this is the number one item that keeps me warm. I love the floral print, it's pretty but not overdone like some floral print items can be. The bathrobe is soft, comfortable, and perfect for laying around in. It also has deep pockets on each side. The matching slippers are an added cute bonus, and they fit me well too. The bathrobe is one size fits all, and I thought when I first received it, it was going to be gigantic on me but it wasn't. You just have to tighten the belt to how you want it to fit you.

With my new pajamas and bathrobe I will be comfortable all the time now, and that makes me happy!

Peeps Review

Everyone's familiar with Peeps. You see them featured in your local drug store and grocery store for the Easter holiday. Those cute little multicolored chicks filled with delicious marshmallow goodness are a staple of Easter. They are also around for Halloween and Christmas, in the shapes of pumpkins, ghosts, and Christmas trees.

Just Born produces more than just Peeps. They are the producers of Mike & Ike's, Hot Tamales, Peanut Chews, Teenee Beanee as well. I had no idea they produced some of these very popular brands until now.

I've always loved Peeps and look forward to the holidays where I can enjoy them. I contacted Just Born and was excited when they told me they would be sending me some dark and milk chocolate covered Peeps. Wow, I was not familiar with the chocolate covered Peeps, but instantly knew I would love them.

A package showed up at my door today bearing two separate cases of Peeps. One dark and one milk chocolate covered case, of course.



Wow, each case has 24 individually wrapped Peeps inside!



Of course I had to try this delicious treat. I really liked how the candy was in the shape of a peep, it was very cute.


Once you bite into the Peep, there is yellow marshmallow inside. It doesn't taste exactly like a normal marshmallow Peep does, but it tastes even better! It reminds me of those marshmallow eggs around Halloween time. The chocolate is delicious and very rich and fresh. The marshmallow is fluffy and whipped. The flavor of the chocolate is smooth and very good. The dark chocolate is good too but the milk chocolate was my favorite. Each peep has 110 calories, which isn't bad considering the peep is large for the small amount of calories that you're eating.

I absolutely loved everything on this website. It took me about half an hour to pick out the two items I was allowed to review. It was very hard to make a decision as I had so many favorites, but of course had to narrow them down to just two. I love clothes, so having the opportunity to do a product review from this website was awesome!

I love this cardigan. It is simple, but black goes with so much. It would look great with a gold bag or some gold accessories. You can wear it day or night and change up the style. For day you can wear it with flats, and at night you can wear it with boots. I love it paired with a white top underneath, like in the picture. It is soft, fits me great, and is very comfortable. I like that it has many snaps, depending on how much you want to close the cardigan. The caridgan has two pockets on either side which are nice and roomy. I know I will be wearing this soon.

Double Breasted Jacket:


This military inspired Double Breasted Coat will keep your marching with happiness. Finished with side tabs and front welt pockets this is another classic coat that will keep you on trend for years to come. (Taken from website.)

This jacket is perfect for the upcoming fall season. It fits me perfectly and would look great for a night out with heels, boots, or flats. The buttons are on tightly and securely and it looks great open or closed. I love the look of the big military style buttons. This jacket is cute and very stylish. I can't wait to wear it once it starts getting a little bit cooler.

A large 20 lb package arrived at my door yesterday. It was huge and I knew it was bursting with healthy, delicious goodies, just for me! I opened it up and discovered a package filled to the top with flavored soy milks, creamy, rich, puddings, and 5 gigantic bottles of smoothies. Wow, so extremely generous.



I received 3 containers of chocolate, chocolate/vanilla, vanilla, and banana Zensoy pudding, 3 small milk boxes in the flavors of vanilla, chocolate, and cappuccino. I received 5 large bottles of smoothies that consisted of peach, plain, strawberry, blueberry, and pomegranate. YUM! I couldn’t wait to try the pomegranate smoothie.






The first item I tried was the box of chocolate soy milk (of course!) It was rich and creamy and rich in that delicious chocolate flavor. It was smooth and was gone in 2.5 seconds. I loved it! I also love the cute little Panda Bear featured on each ZenSoy Package. The banana pudding reminded me of delicious home made banana pudding, and my childhood. Each pudding cup only has 110 calories, so it is figure friendly, and a great on the go snack. The pudding is a little thicker than normal puddings though. I sampled the Evolve pomegranate smoothie as well. It was very creamy and thick. It reminded me of making a pomegranate smoothie but without all of the work. It had a great fruity taste to it that was very satisfying. I can’t wait to try the rest of the products sent to me in the next coming weeks. I am happy that these companies truly care about their consumer’s health.

Gorton's and Ortega Review and Giveaway

I love getting free product coupons, especially for food. Yes, I like getting the food for free, but I really enjoy having the opportunity to sample food that I wouldn't normally buy.

Casio Baby G Review and Giveaway

I'm going to be honest and let you all know that I don't even own a watch. I rely 100% on my cell phone to keep tabs on what time it is. I never had any desire to wear a watch and just figured I can use my cell phone or something else to see what time it is. I figured that I should stop being lazy and actually wear a watch.

Casio kindly let me review one of their very unique and stylish Baby G watches. These watches are so fun and come in many different styles and colors.

I really like this watch. I think the white and the pink is a great color combination and the pink face gives the watch a pop of color. The watch has so many cool features and I am still learning how to figure them all out. It comes with an instruction manuel which is helping me immensely. You can use the buttons on the side of the watch to control what you want to do. It is not hard to set the time, but just takes some getting used to as to what buttons to push, etc. I like that the day of the week is displayed on the watch's face too. The battery lasts 3 years which is a very long time. The watch is comfortable and fits me well and I love the way it looks. This is a sturdy watch that is built to last. With this watch, no longer will I have to rely on a phone to see what time it is.

Musselman's Review (Part 2)

As you all might remember, I did a review a few months ago of various Musselman apple sauce products. Every container of it was gone within a week and a half. It was delicious, and a healthy snack to boot!

I was contacted again to review some new flavors from their applesauce line, and was also asked to review their apple juice. Of course I said yes! I quickly had a UPS package at my door to enjoy. The flavors that I was sent were Heathy Pick's Granny Smith Apple and Totally Fruit Mixed Berry. I was also sent a magnetic fridge calendar and reusable Musselman branded tote bag.

The applesauces were delicious and very fresh. They are best served chilled and the flavors were true to their names. You can taste bits of the fruit in each bite, and it's pure heaven. I like that this is a guilt free, healthy snack. You know you are making a great health choice by having one of these apple sauce cups. My favorite flavor was the Healthy Picks because it contained super fruits, which are important to represent in your diet. These snacks are great for the office, school, or just on the go.

I generously received 2 large bottles of apple juice. The apple flavor was very strong and instantly noticable. Some apple juices are masked by a strong taste of sugar, but this was not. This is 100% apple juice, so you know you are not drinking anything artifical. This juice was extremely refreshing and went down smooth. You know you are drinking only the finest and freshest apples with this juice.

With all of these sauces and juices, I'm appled out, but in a good way :)

Savvyrest Review

Lately I've been having problems with waking up with a sore, stiff neck. My pillow just isn't cutting it anymore. I need something that is thick, with support and definition. I came across Savvyrest.com and hoped it would be the magic answer to helping my poor neck finally have some relief.

I was thrilled when Savvyrest agreed to let me review their queen contour pillow. The pilllow came very quickly and I couldn't wait to try it out.

I used this pillow the same day I received it. From the minute I put my head down on this fabulous pillow, I could feel the difference in my neck immediately. On a standard everyday pillow that is not contour, when you put your head down it automatically goes closer to the mattress. Obviously by this fact, your head is not going to be supported as well. With the contour pillow, you will not have any neck pains and your spine will be kept perfectly aligned. My face is less pushed against the pillow with the contour than a regular pillow, and I truly believe that people who are concerned about wrinkles would be delighted with this finding. The feel of the pillow is soft and plush. The pillow case comes off for easy washing and laundering. I'm sure I will be truly happy with this pillow for many years to come. I highly recommend this pillow, and it's less expensive than going to a chiropractor.

I like my hair to look its best at all times. I wash and blow dry it every single day, and sometimes flat iron it too to get any frizziness out. I don't put too much product in it generally because my hair is usually pretty tame and manageable.
I always like to try new products, and am always on the look out for them.

I stumbled upon Eufora, which is a company which specializes in hair care products.

I was fortunate enough to receive 3 full-sized products from this company. I got one Urgent Repair Shampoo, one Urgent Repair Replenishing Treatment, and one Illuminate Shine Mist.





The Urgent Repair Shampoo is an aloe vera based clarifying and strengthening shampoo which contains keratin proteins that rebuild damaged hair. Gently cleanses while repairing delicate moisture-starved hair. I am in love with this shampoo. My hair gets very dry, especially in the summer and I have to condition it every single time I wash it because it's so thirst for moisture. If I don't condition my hair, I can't even comb through it after I get out of the shower. With this shampoo, I can COMB MY HAIR WITHOUT CONDITIONING IT FIRST!!! This is a miracle for me. I've never experienced this before and I'm so happy. Usually I would condition my hair, comb it through, and wait 5 minutes in the shower to let it soak in before rinsing it out. This saves me so much time and aggrivation. I am very thankful for this product, not to mention it smells delicious. The shampoo lathers nicely and my hair rinses clean and refreshed. This product also protects against color treated hair. Urgent Repair contains a natural formulation that removes product build-up with a biodegradable chelating agent, and a sulfate-free thermal protection system that protects the hair from heat styling and environmental damage.

Illuminate Shine Mist:
Eufora Illuminate - Shine Mist is for a beautiful shine without weight. Use on finished styles to create shiny, healthy looking hair. Use during the blow dry for added conditioning and detangling. I sprayed this on my hair before blow drying and combed it through. It had a very subtle scent to it. It sprayed on well. After my hair was dry I could notice a new shininess to it. My hair looked great and much healthier. It looked like I spent a day in the salon with expensive products, but it all took place in my bathroom!

Urgent Repair Replenishing Treatment:
This product is unique. Not only is it good for your hair, but you can use it on your skin to soothe and heal any irritations you might have. Granted I haven't tried that use yet, I will the next time I have any sort of cut or scrape. This replenishing treatment is focused on intensely fixing your damaged hair. I know my hair needs all the help it can get, especially from the hot summer sun and heat. I haven't used it yet but plan on doing so very soon. It smells very good too.

Thanks to Eufora I will always have beautiful and healthy hair now!

Fresh Organic Living Review and Giveaway

Pomegranate is my favorite scent. I love to eat pomegranates, and use any pomegranate scented body product on myself as well. It just has a great, delicious, fruity smell to it.

FreshOrganics.com is a website which features items catered to bath and body, children, and household.

I was sent a bottle of pomegranate fig lotion to review. The bottle is a nice size and will definately last me a while. The front label of the bottle says "Soothing jojoba oil that is clinically proven to relieve dry skin. The lotion also has no harsh or harmful chemicals." The lotion is certified organic so you know you are putting nothing unnatural on your skin.

I tested this lotion on my skin and it rubbed in very easily and quickly. There was no greasy residue left over afterwards either. I noticed the fig scent overpowered the pomegranate. I barely smelled the pomegranate, it was extremely subtle. The lotion overall had a woodsy smell it. It moisturized my hand well and left it soft and smooth after. This lotion will be great for the upcoming winter when my hands are rough and dry from the harsh winter wind.
